Return and Refund Policy (Dry goods Only)

THIS POLICY PAGE ONLY APPLIES TO AQUARIUM PRODUCTS. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON LIVESTOCK. PLEASE SEE DOA POLICY FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING LIVESTOCK ORDERS. 

 

Aquarium Arts Return & Refund Policy

We like to keep things simple and fair. If there’s an issue with your order, we’ll do our best to make it right. If the problem was on our end, we’ll fix it. If something didn’t go as expected on your end, we’ll still work with you to find a reasonable solution.


🛒 Dry Goods

You can return most dry goods PURCHASED ONLINE within 30 days of your purchase. Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging. For IN STORE purchases, the return window is 14 days.  If you're returning something because you ordered the wrong item, changed your mind, or no longer need it, you may be responsible for return shipping and a restocking fee (typically 15%).

If the product is defective, damaged in shipping, or incorrect, we’ll cover return shipping and offer a full refund or replacement at no charge.


🔄 How to Request a Return

  1. Email us at sales@aquariumartsarizona.com with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and the reason.

  2. If approved, we’ll give you instructions and return details.

  3. When sending the return, please write your order number on the outside of the package.

Returns must be shipped to the address we provide.


📦 Return Requirements

  • Products must be in original, unopened packaging, with all parts, manuals, and accessories included.

  • Items that have been used or exposed to water cannot be returned.

  • Items with damaged packaging, broken seals, or missing components may not qualify for refund or may be returned to you.

  • We do not refund shipping fees, coupons, or reward points.



🛠️ Defective Items & Warranties

If something is defective within 30 days, we’ll take care of it directly.

After 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for warranty service. Most brands offer support and replacements for covered issues beyond our return window.


❄️ Frozen Food

All sales of frozen food are final. We cannot accept returns due to the nature of frozen shipments and dry ice handling.


🐟 Aquariums & Freight Shipments

For large items shipped by freight:

  • Inspect the tank before signing for delivery.

  • If there's damage, take photos, make notes on the delivery slip, or refuse the shipment.

  • If damage isn’t reported on the delivery slip, we may not be able to assist.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON AQUARIUMS. ALL AQUARIUM SALES ARE FINAL. 


💳 Returns with Financing

If you financed your order and choose to return an item:

  • Financing charges a non-refundable 6% fee.

  • We’ll process your refund minus this fee.

  • Your refund may appear within 3–10 business days depending on processing timeline.
