The Spotcinctus Clownfish is a rare and visually striking designer variant of the Two-Band Clownfish. Its name comes from the distinctive white spots and irregular band patterns that give each individual a unique appearance. The vibrant orange-yellow body is beautifully contrasted by thick, uneven white stripes edged in black, with random white spots scattered across its body and fins. Its bold markings and hardy nature make it an exciting addition to any marine aquarium.

Care Requirements:
The Spotcinctus Clownfish thrives in aquariums of at least 30 gallons, with plenty of live rock for shelter and territory establishment. It adapts well to both reef and fish-only tanks and does not require an anemone to thrive. However, it readily hosts anemones such as Entacmaea quadricolor (Bubble Tip Anemone) or Heteractis crispa (Sebae Anemone) if provided.

Diet:
An omnivore, this clownfish enjoys a varied diet of high-quality marine pellets, flakes, and frozen foods like mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Adding spirulina or marine algae helps maintain vibrant coloration and supports overall health.

Temperament:
The Spotcinctus Clownfish has a semi-aggressive temperament, particularly as it matures. It can be kept singly, in mated pairs, or with other semi-aggressive fish. Like most clownfish, it may display territorial behavior, especially during breeding or when established in a smaller tank.

Reef Compatibility:
Reef Safe. This clownfish is safe with corals and invertebrates, making it an excellent choice for reef aquariums. It may occasionally rearrange soft corals when exhibiting hosting behavior in the absence of an anemone.

Compatibility:
Compatible with other semi-aggressive fish and invertebrates. It can be housed with other clownfish species in larger tanks, but territorial disputes may arise. Avoid housing with overly aggressive species that may harass or outcompete it for food.
