This species is highly active, constantly exploring the water column, and thrives in a well-established marine setup.

Size:
Grows to a maximum size of approximately 4 inches.

Aquarium Size:
A minimum tank size of 50 gallons is recommended, with plenty of swimming space and rockwork for shelter.

Temperament:
Peaceful and best suited for community aquariums.

Reef Compatibility:
Completely reef-safe and will not harm corals or invertebrates.

Diet:
Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse thrives on a varied diet, including frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and high-quality marine pellets. Multiple small feedings throughout the day help maintain optimal health and coloration.

Tank Setup & Care:

• Requires plenty of open swimming space and live rock for hiding.
